1997,      I became one of the first NCC fully accredited Level ‘3’ Triathlon Coach.

1997.     I was appointed the National Head Coach of Triathlon Australia till 2003.

Now, 2019 I still work as a full-time totally results orientated, highly respected Multi-Award Winning Triathlon Sports Coach ~ Consultant ~ Advisor ~ Mentor ~ Motivator, known and respected by my peers as a arguably the world’s most successful “Specialist” Triathlon Coach.

Many have asked how it was possible for any one coach or person, to spread themselves over so many different sports, so many multi-cultural, some non English speaking personalities, or how it was possible for anyone, to become coach & mentor, to not one but five vastly  different sports? Three of those being Olympic sports and still be able to extract the best possible results from them all?

Col is a coach known to have those unique skills that produce

Col remembers  when I started coaching triathletes back in 1983.

As it was then I had to call on all the past coaching skills & expertise he had gained while coaching the many elite athletes from the sports of Wrestling, Speed-Skating, Swimming, Cycling & Running.

However, triathlon being a completely new sport, I knew I would need to invent & devise many new coaching techniques if I was to coach triathletes how to train to race a triathlon!

So that my athletes remained injury free, I then demanded they all did my unique sports specific.

CIRCUIT TRAINING ~ BALANCE, ~ BREATHING & SPECIFIC EXERCISES.     
Though known as tough, outspoken & demanding. I am a highly respected coach known for coaching excellence.
For me training, coaching & motivating triathletes was like being rewarded, for doing what I love doing most, that is teaching triathletes how to race and win any distance, triathlon races.
I just needed to remember that to achieve the top results you must perform better than all others. To be able to do that you must work and train harder, be more committed, more focused and develop much stronger, more powerful brain power.
